America is said to be great.
However, those who don’t live here can’t possibly relate. From the outside looking in it seems as though success is your only fate.

No, not at all this can’t be the case. As we still can’t agree on a subject as simple as race. I see a rich yet troubled nation, that faces the most trials and tribulations.

We lead from the front but not always in a positive light. I’m talking about suicide, murder, divorce and prison rates.

Stand up for yourself it’s cold out there, you’re gonna need a coat. People often point fingers and once exhausted use the government as a scapegoat.

Real love for your fellow brother or sister is so rare. People tend to wear masks and act as though they really care.

What you’re searching for can’t be bought or sold. So, stop looking because it cannot be attained by driving down the road. True and utter happiness is only found within.

This blog is a collection of thought provoking, spirit lifting and ambition driven poems as well as spoken word written by Lazarus for those who share a similar dream and perception of life. The vision that no matter the obstacle, failure, setback, trial or loss in life that you hold the power to overcome it all. You may have been born to lose but in time can be built to win and God willing can accomplish whatever your heart desires.
